eWaste
Recycling Inc.
eWaste Recycling deals in all types of electronic and electric
recycling. Electronic waste is the fastest growing waste in North America
with a rapid outdating of equipment. The term ‘e-waste’ refers
to any electronic scrap, not only computer parts. eWaste recycles computer
plastics, metals, wire, and all other components. We are positioned to
handle all e-waste in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and the United States.
We have plants in:
- Tilbury, Ontario
- Detroit, Michigan
- Chicago Illinois
- Orlando, Florida
- Daytona, Florida
eWaste Recycling Inc. operates its electronics de-manufacturing
and recycling facilities based on system of asset recovery. All electronic
equipment received in our facilities is evaluated, classified for reuse,
and processed. Components of value are sold for reuse or recovery of raw
materials. The remaining scrap is then properly recycled by permitted
associate facilities – even if it costs eWaste Recycling to do it!
eWaste Recycling Inc. performs asset recovery by de-manufacturing
and destroying the materials received. We handle all materials in an environmentally
sound manner. We offer product/asset destruction that includes complete
dismantling and destruction of the asset by means of shredding and grinding
at our facility. Prior to disposal, assets are tagged, itemized and documented
for inventory control purposes. eWaste Recycling Inc. ensures that all
client data and software are removed from all electronic media. Corporate
identifiers and asset tags are physically removed. Our hard drive erasing
process ensures that all data has been destroyed using a secure data deletion
program that rewrites the drive five times over to protect total data
security. Inoperable hard drives are destroyed so that all data and software
are unrecoverable. Items of environmental concern include batteries, soldered
circuit boards, cathode ray tubes and mercury wetted switches. Our customers
are given ‘recycling certificates’ stating the items and volumes
recycled. These certificates can be used for environmental audits (ISO,
etc.).Items of environmental concern include batteries, soldered circuit
